THE WEDDING: WHAT WE'RE EXCITED FOR

Tracy: I'm so excited for our ceremony and to fully celebrate our love and the friendship and unity we have between each other and our friends and family. Andy and I consider all the people in our lives our family, whether by blood or by choice, and this is just going to be an amazing experience for us to have them all in the same room. I'm nervous, yet excited, for our vows and just sharing with him and everyone there how much he means to me. I also can't wait to share Hood River with people who have never been there.

Andy: I'm excited to see Tracy in her white dress walking down the aisle. I'm also excited to celebrate our relationship and love with all of our friends and family. Of course, I'm excited for the music. I'm also looking forward to the first dance with my Mom. Most of all, I want to see Tracy smiling a lot and enjoying the night.

HOW WE ENDED UP IN SEATTLE

Tracy: Andy called me up one night and asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner. When we got there we were halfway through the meal when he told me he just got a great job offer and was moving to Seattle.

Andy: I found out I was moving to Seattle, and was super nervous to tell Tracy about it. We hadn't been dating that long but I figured her reaction and my last few weeks in town would determine how we moved forward. Mostly, it was the right decision for me at the time, and I was just hoping for the best.

Tracy: I remember him telling me he was moving to Seattle, and all I could think was, that's that. I had had so much fun dating him and living back in Portland, that I really couldn't imagine being long distance. Yet, as it got closer to his moving date we became more and more inseparable. So we decided to give it a try and there were nights where Andy would drive down from Seattle on a Tuesday evening, just to go back on Wednesday morning for work. I started driving back and forth on the weekends, and we just naturally kept going. It was great because every time I came to Seattle, Andy always had something awesome planned for us.

Andy: While driving to see Tracy for even one night was worth it, it started taking it's toll. I hated being away from her, and I was racking up the speeding tickets driving back and forth. Much like I knew Seattle was the right choice for me, I knew she was too. I decided it was time to give her my best salesman pitch.

Tracy: I kid you not, I remember looking at my phone (a slider phone, or else I would have had a screenshot) and seeing that this speech had gone on for 46 minutes! Needless to say, he convinced me, and a month or so later I moved up. The rest is history!
