NOT OUR FIRST, BUT ONE OF OUR BEST DATES

Andy: A couple months into dating, we met up at Gypsy, an old karaoke bar in Portland.

Tracy: We were there with a group of people and started enjoying a few of their famous "Fishbowl" Cocktails.

Andy: After a few hours at the bar, I was done with the night and asked if she wanted to come over.

Tracy:  As I walked around the corner to his place, he was standing on the balcony and he yelled down, "Tracy Wurzburg, am I falling in love with you?!" And of course I was cartoon heart eyes at that point. Andy always had groups of people at his house, as he's always been the life of the party, but that night it was just the two of us. We drank wine, and he put on some old school hits (he later told me it was Jackie Wilson).  I remember dancing for what felt like hours, jumping on the couch, the coffee tables, and just singing and having the best time ever.

HOW WE MET

Tracy: We met at a NYE party, but it was a quick hello, nice to meet you.

Andy: We met and I thought she was really cute, but she was with her friends and I was with my friends and I just left it at that.

Tracy: The NYE party came and went but a week or so later, on my 27th birthday, is when he really caught my attention. A group of us were at a hotel and I remember grabbing Miranda and telling her how cute I thought he was.

Andy: Once again I thought she was super cute, but this time I finally got a chance to talk to her. It was her birthday though, so she was focused on everyone and we never really got a chance to connect.

Tracy: We unknowingly had all the same friends, so I "conveniently" started ending up at all the same places as him when we were out. That lasted only a couple weeks though. We ended up at East in Portland one night and finally started getting to know each other.

Andy: I was oblivious to the fact that it was me she was trying to get to know. Later into the night she basically had to spell it out for me and that was the beginning...
